The University of Greenwich UCU committee has entered into dispute with the University over its automatic lecture capture policy. Members have significant concerns and have asked the Branch to negotiate on the lecture capture policy.
The policy was put to Academic Council, and approved, two weeks before the first meeting on lecture capture policy between the senior management and the UCU representatives. The UCU branch representatives have been asking to be involved since February 2018, when members sent us information of an imminent policy, but we were not offered a meeting and no real consultation or negotiation has been available.
